Mullica residents, Officer Paul Rivera and Kimberly Butterhof, were honored tonight by Mullica Township Mayor Janet Forman and Detective Sgt. John Thompson of the Mullica Township Police Department for their heroic, life saving roles in near drowning rescue of a local boy.

The Elwood Fire Company Welcomes Home One of Their Own

PV2 Timothy C. Brining

Specialist Timothy C. Brining returned home Tuesday from a 9 month tour of Iraq were he serviced as a Army Medic. Tim has been an Elwood Firefighter since he was 16 yrs old.

 The Elwood Fire Company and the Mullica Police escorted Tim home with lights & sirens

Sign Up For The Special Needs Registry For Emergency Evacuations

The Atlantic County Office of Emergency Prepardeness has implemented the Special Needs Registry, it is a database of all County Residents that may need assistance during a time of an evacuation or any type of disaster.

Residents that are in need of special services, such as those who are Oxygen dependant, Wheel Chair bound, etc can register on-line. Once a disaster hits the people with special needs can then be easily identified.

Residents can register online at: www.ac-evac.org

Forms can also be picked up at the Mullica Twp police station.
