March 15th at 6:06pm for the report of a Vehicle fire. E-16-3 responded with a crew of 6 and T-16-5 responded with a crew of 5. Support 16-1 with a crew of 2. On arrival at 6:12pm T-16-5 & E-16-3 found a fully involved car and the woods around it on fire. Hammonton was called to stand by on the White Horse Pike. The fire was quickly extinguished and all units were clear at 6:51pm.

E-16-3 responed with a crew of 6. On arrive Chief Tomasco found that the home owner had put out the fire. E-16-3 arrived and wet down the area. Click here for more Photos Incident #13 MVA Roll Over
The Elwood Fire Company was called on March 4th at 5:40pm to a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) with roll over. On arrival at 5:50pm Engian 16-3 with a full crew stabilized the vehicle and cut the battery cables. Tanker 16-5 and R-16-4 responded to assist with EMS and traffic. All units were clear at 6:20pm
EVFC Says Thank You to Former Chief Frank DomenicoThe Elwood Vol Fire Company's officers presented a plaque to former Hammonton Fire Department Chief Frank Domenico for his years of service and friendship to the Elwood Fire Company. (Left to Right) Safety Officer: Frank Esposito, Captain: Jody Fowler, Captain: John Falciano, Asst. Chief: Louis Critelli, Former Hammonton Chief Frank Domenico, EVFC Chief: Anthony Tomasco, Captain: Jerry Critelli Jr, Captain: Jamie DeMaio. Incident #9: Chimney FireAll four Mullica Twp fire companies were called out at 9:20pm for the report of a chimney fire at 1248 Willartz St. All others companies were recall with the exception of Elwood Station-160 by 16-01 on location. Engine 16-3 along with Tanker 16-5 responded with full crews. On arrival at 9:24pm the crews removed the hot embers and cleared and remaining burning material with chimney cleaning tool and used an electric fan to remove smoke from the home. The home owner was advised to have the chimney professionally cleaned and inspected before using. All units were clear at 10:03pm. |
