EVFC Incident #67 06/30/2023 at 10:16pm - 500 Elwood Rd (Mullica School) in Elwood for Landing Zone Assignment Called for landing zone at rec fields for a vehicle vs motorcycle on Elwood Rd. Car 1600 had landing zone relocated to the rear of the school due to Elwood Rd being impassible. Tanker 16-5 responded to the landing zone. Patrol also requested assistance with traffic at Elwood Road and Columbia Road, Utility 16-4 responded to assist with traffic.
EVFC Incident #66 06/30/2023 at 2:54pm - 5320 River Dr in Sweetwater for an Activated Fire AlarmReceived a call for an activated smoke alarm. 1630 arrived on scene and discovered that a crew was working on the house and creating heavy dust. 1630 acknowledged the false alarm and cleared the scene.
EVFC Incident #65 06/23/2023 at 9:15am - 317 Weymouth Rd in Elwood for an Activated Fire AlarmReceived a call for an activated fire alarm and smoke in the building. Arrived on scene and determined that the smoke was steam from a shower. Reset the alarm system and cleared the scene.
EVFC Incident #64 06/22/2023 at 6:35pm - S Rt 30/Wharton Park Blvd in Elwood for a MVAProvided blocking truck for car removal and cleaned off roadway.
EVFC Incident #63 06/22/2023 at 12:37pm - 3624 Reading Ave in Elwood for a pole fireCalled for a pole fire. On arrival, found top of pole on fire. Stood by until Atlantic City Electric arrived, cut power, and extinguished pole.
EVFC Incident #62 06/16/2023 at 2:34pm - 4325 S White Horse Pike in Elwood for Public Service AssistTurned gas off at dollar general. Celling tiles fell in building. Gutters were clogged. Scene turned over to Hammonton due to two other calls at the same time.
EVFC Incident #61 06/16/2023 at 2:33pm - 5600 White Horse Pike in Elwood for an Electrical HazardEgg Harbor and South Egg Harbor responded, telephone pole hit by lighting, sent current through wire into the building, small electrical fire extinguished by Egg Harbor City. Notified AC Electric and checked for extension. |
