Incident #23 Structure Fire - Hammonton

IncidentsThe Elwood Fire Company was called out on April 8th at 2:00am for a fully involved structure fire at 36 Oak rd in Hammonton. Tanker 16-5 responded with a full crew to the scene to supply water and manpower. Engine 16-3 responded to the Hammonton High School to act as a water supply to incoming tankers. All units were clear at 4:19am.

Incident #22: Structure Fire

IncidentsThe Mullica Twp Fire Companies were called on April 5th at 12:14pm to 2212 Elwood rd in Sweetwater for a possible structure fire. Sweetwater's E-16-33 arrived along with Tanker-16-5, E-16-3 and support 16-1. All other units were recalled. They found a electrical fire underneath the sideing on the out side of the house. The electric was turned off and the fire was put out. The units check for extension with the thermal camera. All units were clear at 12:54pm.

Incident #21 - The Smell of Smoke

IncidentsThursday, March 27th at 7:52am at 3816 White Horse Pike for the report of the smell of smoke. On arrival E-16-3 found a shorted out power strip. They removed the hazard and checked for extension. All units were clear at 8:35pm

Incident # 20 Transformer / Traffic Detail

IncidentsWednesday March 26th at 8:50pm for the report of a transformer fire in the area of 305 Weymouth rd. Engine 16-3 responded with a crew of 6 and found on arrival a power outage along Elwood/Weymouth rd and the traffic light out at Rt 30 & Elwood rd. Tanker 16-5 responded with a crew of 4 and stood by at 305 Weymouth rd due to odd electrical fluctuation in the residents. E-16-3 assisted the Mullica Police at Rt30 & Elwood rd with traffic until the electric company arrived and restored power to the area and traffic light. All units were clear at 10:26pm.

Incident #19 Vehicle Fire/Woods

IncidentsMarch 15th at 6:06pm for the report of a Vehicle fire. E-16-3 responded with a crew of 6 and T-16-5 responded with a crew of 5. Support 16-1 with a crew of 2. On arrival at 6:12pm T-16-5 & E-16-3 found a fully involved car and the woods around it on fire. Hammonton was called to stand by on the White Horse Pike. The fire was quickly extinguished and all units were clear at 6:51pm.

Incident #18 - Brush Fire

Incidents

On March 14th at 6:45pm the Elwood Fire Company was called to the report of a brush fire behind a home in Warton Park. E-16-3 responed with a crew of 6. On arrive Chief Tomasco found that the home owner had put out the fire. E-16-3 arrived and wet down the area.

Incident #17 - Car Fire

IncidentsThe Elwood Fire Company was called to the report of a car fire on March 14th at 2:50pm. On arrive Chief Tomasco found that the fire was extinguished with at fire extinguisher. E-16-3 arrived and cut the battery cables. All units were clear at 3:00pm.
