Incident #72 8/23/2008 - The Area of 5600 Reading Ave for Smell of Smoke

IncidentsAugust 23rd at 11:40pm for the smell of smoke in the area of 5600 Reading Ave. Engine 16-3 & Tanker 16-5 responded and found a BBQ pit with trash in it burning. They advised the land owner to extinguish the fire. All units were clear at 12:10am.

Incident #71 8/22/2008 - 433 Burdick Ave for a Shed Fire

IncidentsThe Elwood Fire Company along with Sweetwater Fire Company were called to 433 Burdick ave for a shed fire on August 22 at 12:13pm. On arrival Chief Tomasco found it to be fully involved and called for a pumper from Hammonton. Engine 16-3 arrived and quickly extinguished the fire before it spread any further. All units were clear at 12:58pm.

IncidentsTanker 16-5 and Support 16-1 responded to Frangelica's Rt 30 in Chesilhurst for Mutual Aid for a Structure Fire. Tanker 16-5 dropped one load before clearing at 6:10am.

IncidentsThe Elwood Fire Company was called out for an activated fire alarm at 313 Weymouth rd at 8:50 am. The alarm was found to be malfunctioning.

Incident #68 08/13/2008 at 6:18pm - 313 Weymounth Rd for a Fire Alarm

IncidentsEngine 16-3 responded at 6:18pm on August 13th to an activated fire alarm at 313 Weymounth rd. They were recalled by 1602 on location and were clear at 6:30pm. 1602 found a pot left on the stove untended.

Incident #67 8/12/2008 - C/O Detector alarm

IncidentsThe Elwood Fire Company was called to 15 Club House Dr. for a C/O alarm at 9:50am on August 12th. Engine 16-3 responded and used the C/O detector to check for C/O and found none. They advised the homeowner to replace the unit. All units were clear at 10:15am.
