The Elwood Fire Company was called out on Wednesday July 16th at 3:40pm for the report of wires down in the area of 3134 White Horse Pike. Engine 16-3 & Support 16-1 responded and stood by until the Electric Company arrived and cut the power. This is the third time this week the wires have come down on that stretch of road. The Electric Company said the sub station is down in Egg Harbor City and they have diverted power to EHC though the power lines along Rt 30. The lines should be able to handle the extra power but are failing. They said they will be working on replacing them.

E-16-3 Responded and found scrap metal and debris on fire. All units were clear at 1:10pm

The Elwood Fire Company was call on July 14th at 7:53pm to an Investigation of power loss just west of Elwood Rd. They also directed traffic at Mossmill Rd & Elwood Rd due to the traffic light being out. All units were clear at 8:55pm.

The Elwood Fire Company was called to the report of wires down in the area of 3100 Rt 30 at 4:24am on July 13th. E-16-3 responded to the wires down and T-16-5 responded to Mossmill rd and Elwood Rd for a traffic detail.
