Incident #9 02/23/2009 at 4:31pm - Rt 30 & Warton Park Blvd for a Brush Fire & MVA

Incidents

The Elwood Fire Company responded to the report of a brush fire on Rt 30 near Warton Park Blvd at 4:31pm on Mon Feb 23rd. Engine 16-3 responded and found a 20' X 20' brush fire while Rescue 16-4 responded to the MVA about a 1/4 east of the fire. The MVA involved two cars which took down a pole and power lines.  All units were clear at 4:56pm.

Incident #7 02/12/2009 at 3:00pm - 923 Elwood Rd for Wires Down

Incidents

 Wires Down 2-12-09

Engine 16-3 responded to 923 Elwood Rd for the report of Wires Down at 3:00pm. On location at 3:05pm the crew found a tree that  fell in a residents yard and pulled the electric service off of the house. E-16-3 stood by until Atlantic City Electric arrived and made the situation safe. All units were clear at 3:45pm.

Incident #6 01/28/2009 at 8:20am - Rt30 & Darmstadt Ave for an MVA / Jaws Assingment

Incidents

While Engine 16-3 was in Hammonton, Rescue 16-4 & Tanker 16-5 responded to an MVA at Rt 30 & Darmstadt ave and assisted Egg Harbor City with Jaws.

Incident #5 01/28/2009 at 7:40am - 447 North Chew Rd in Hammonton for a Structure Fire / Cover Assingment

Incidents

Engine 16-3 responded with a crew of 5 for a Cover Assignment at Hammonton Station #1 then responded to the scene.

Incident #4 01/23/2009 at 5:20pm - 4649 Black Oak Dr. for a Kitchen Fire

All Mullica Twp Firemen  were called to 4649 Black Oak Dr. for a Kitchen Fire . The home owner extinguished range fire using flour and water. When the Chief arrived on scene, the fire was already extinguished and he recalled Nesco and Weekstown.

Elwood fire dept ventilated, put tarps down, removed oven, and checked for extension using thermal camera. All units were clear at 6:10pm.

Incident #3 01/11/2009 at 9:24pm - 2600 6th Ave in Sweetwater for a Chimney Fire

IncidentsAll Mullica Twp Firemen were called to 2600 6th Ave for a Chimney Fire. Engine 16-3 and Tanker 16-5 along with Rescue 16-4 responded. All Elwood units were recall by Sweetwater Command at 9:28pm.
