The Elwood Fire Company Responded to Moss Mill and Columbia Rd for a 2 vehicle MVA at 3:57pm on Sat April 11th. 2009. Engine 16-3 and Support 16-1 assisted at the MVA while Tanker 16-5 landed 2 helicopters at the Mullica Twp School. Two people were air lifted and one person was transported by ground ambulance to AtlantiCare Mainland by Hammonton Rescue.

The Elwood Fire Company was called to 700 Reading Ave (Water World Pools) in Hammonton for Structure Fire. Hammonton's first in crews found a fully involved commercial warehouse and placed all hand working. They quickly called for mutual aid from the surrounding area. Collings Lakes was called for their RIT team. Tanker Task Force B was activated bringing tankers from all over Atlantic County. R16-4 & S16-1 responded to a MVA at 3323 Nesco Rd in Nesco for a Jaws Assignment. E16-3 was recalled by 1600A. The victim self-extracated. All units were clear at 12:50am.
