Incident #67 08/18/2009 at 11:14pm - 113 DaCosta Rd for an Activated C/O Alarm

Incidents

Found high c/o reads through out house on all 3 floors. (Basement, 1st & 2nd Fl). Readings as high as 9. Suspected oil boiler. Shut down boiler & advised homeowner not to turn back on until it can be inspected/repaired. Cleared house of C/o with fans. 0 reading on meters. Hammonton's cascade 9 was called to replace air in packs. Cleared homeowner to return.

Incident #66 08/18/2009 at 11:09am - 3704 Reading Ave for an Electrical Fire

Crews found Pressure switch on well pump shorted out. Fire was extinguished by homeowner. Sent crew into craw space to investigate. Found pressure switch on well pump shorted out & melted.Advised homeowner to call a plumber & electrician & to leave circuit for well pump turn off until it can be replaced. All units were clear at 11:50pm

All Mullica Twp Firemen were called to 619 Elwood Rd along with Hammonton. E-16-3 responded for a Fire in the basement at 12:19pm. The bulk of the fire was out on arrival. Crews finished extinguishment & overhauled. All Elwood units were clear at 1:30pm.
