IncidentsPickup truck hit a utility pole. No injuries. Stood by and provided traffic control until county public works arrived to provide traffic control for electric company. All units cleared at 2:52am.

EVFC Incident #65 10/08/2017 at 6:24pm - Darmstadt Ave near Duerer St for a vehicle fire

IncidentsCalled for a vehicle fire. Forest Fire Service arrived first and extinguished fire. Fire started in the engine compartment and had spread to the cab. Egg Harbor City Fire Department were called but then recalled. Stood by until vehicle was removed from roadway. All units cleared at 6:52pm.

IncidentsReceived a call for a structure fire in Hammonton. Arrived on scene and took over a hand line. After the fire was extinguished, stood by and helped re-rack the 5" line back onto the truck.

EVFC Incident #62 09/26/2017 at 9:08am - White Horse Pike / Hamburg Ave for an MVA

IncidentsStation 160 was dispatched for a MVA at White Horse Pike / Hamburg Ave. Upon arrival, Police, EMS, and Station 10 was already on location. The scene consisted of a oil delivery truck and a box truck. The box truck had rear-ended the oil delivery truck, which was parked on the right lane of Route 30. A small amount of diesel fuel had leaked from one of the vehicles but no other fluids were leaking from the trucks. The passengers from the vehicles were already out of the vehicles and in the care of EMS. Rescue 16-2 with the assistance from Station 10 disconnected the battery terminals from the vehicle and made sure the scene safe. Station 160 units waited for the tow company to remove the vehicle and assisted police with traffic. Tow company removed vehicles from scene without incident and no further action was taken. All units clear without incident at 11:12am.
