Firefighters extinguished a small brush fire Thursday evening near Backline Road and the railroad tracks in Folsom.
The fire was contained to about a half-acre and was out before 6:30 p.m., according to emergency personnel on the scene.
Responding to the fire were the New Jersey Forest Fire Service, and the Collings Lakes and Newtonville volunteer fire companies.
