17-year-old charged with arson, other charges, after fire at Oakcrest High School
The school day at Oakcrest High School was interrupted for a short time when staff and students were forced to evacuate after a small fire.
Fire crews responded to the call of a fire at the high school just after 9:30am Tuesday.
Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames in a bathroom.
Damage was limited to a portion of the bathroom. There were no injuries reported.
Investigators have identified a 17-year-old suspect from Mizpah.
He was arrested and charged with second degree aggravated arson, fourth degree of risking widespread injury, and third degree criminal mischief.
The suspect is in the Harbor Fields Juvenile Detention Center pending court.
