Firefighters battle blaze at Millville home
MILLVILLE - Firefighters are investigating what caused an early morning fire at a vacant duplex in Millville.
Initial calls for the blaze came in around 4:00 a.m. Monday at a home on Vine Street between North 3rd and 4th Streets.
An NBC 40 reporter on the scene says multiple fire departments were working to extinguish the blaze.
Flames and heavy smoke were seen around the side of the home.
Fire officials say that no one was injured in the fire, which was extinguished around 6:30 a.m.
They would not say if the fire was believed to be suspicious, but they would not rule out the possibility, pending investigation.
Police officials also confirmed another early morning fire in Vineland.
Authorities say fire investigators were on the scene of a fire at an apartment complex on the 2400 block of La Valle Avenue around 2:30 a.m.
No information has been released regarding this incident.
