Multiple Victims Rescued in Galloway Accident

GALLOWAY TWP. - Multiple people were rescued from their vehicles after an accident in Galloway Township Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened in the area of the intersection of Duerer Street and Mannheim Avenue just after 4:30. Police say a Chrysler minivan collided with a Cadillac sedan. Both vehicles ended up off the roadway after the collision.

Police say both drivers had to be rescued from their vehicles. The drivers and two small children were taken to the hospital for injuries sustain in the crash. The condition of the victims is unknown at this time.

The accident is still being investigated, no summonses have been issued, pending the result the investigation.

Galloway Township accident injures four

A two-car collision injured four people – including two children - in Galloway Township Thursday afternoon.

Galloway police said the accident occurred at 4:39 p.m. at West Duerer Street and South Manheim Avenue when two cars collided at the intersection.

Police said four people were inured and transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus in Pomona for undisclosed injuries. The drivers are identified as Denice Flick, 35, of Galloway, and Stacy Hernandez, 23, of Galloway.

Both drivers had to be extricated by Pomona and Egg Harbor City fire departments.

There were also two small children in Hernandez’s vehicle, police said.

None of the injuries is considered life threatening, police said.

The crash is still under investigation and no summonses have been issued, police said.
