Fire Rescue News- Atlantic City fire truck stolen and found
ATLANTIC CITY -- On Sunday morning, an Atlantic City fire truck went missing at the Tropicana.
The on duty crew parked the fire truck on Brighton Avenue before entering the casino to assist people trapped in an elevator on the 31st floor.
Lt. Dan Ritzel tells NBC40 that as the crew spent an hour helping the patrons in the elevator, the fire truck was stolen.
Officers arrived on site to assist with the search for the truck. Shortly after, the fire engine was found near the North Tower valet.
Although authorities located the vehicle, officials do not know who moved the fire engine and they are still investigating.
