THELEN, KEVIN M. "DA'GO" 49 - of Mays Landing, passed away fittingly on Veterans' Day, November 11, 2011, with his family and company firefighters at his side. Da'Go was a member of VFW Post 220 and a firefighter for #1801 MLFD. He was employed as an EMT for Belle Plain Emergency Corps. Da'Go is survived by his loving wife, Judith Durham; his Aunt Jake; Peter Vanderburg (cousin); Daniel and Shawn (brothers), Patricia Stankus (mother); and numerous other relatives and friends. He was pre-deceased by his father Norbert Thelen, his maternal grandparents, and paternal grandfather, Grant Thelen. Da'Go was an active member of his community serving in various fire departments, emergency squads, and the American Red Cross. A celebration of life ceremony will be held Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the Mays Landing Fire House from 2pm-6pm (casual attire preferred). The MLFD will perform a "Tour Around Town" in honor of Da'Go Thelen at 2 PM (Other companies are encouraged to attend). Military and fire department honors will be held at 4 PM at the fire house.
