Cardiff section of the township. Upon arrival, firefighters found flames shooting from the windows and the roof of one apartment, which spread rapidly to ajoining units.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported, though officials say residents living in six units are now displaced, something that has left them in shock.
"It's unbelievable to know that we've lost everything, but we're safe so that's the most important thing," said Rogena Mitchell, a fire victim.
A number of other fire departments responded, including Bargaintown, Farmington, West Atlantic City and Northfield. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, but fire officials say they do not believe it's suspicious at this time.
