Two kitchen workers sustained minor injury Monday after faulty equipment caught fire in the George Hess Complex in Mays Landing.

The two employees suffered from smoke inhalation, he said. Adding they were treated on scene.
No pupils were injured during the incident, he said.
Connelly said the school was evacuated when firefighters arrived at the school a few minutes later.
He said, after fire officials investigated the kitchen, the cause of the fire was determined to be a faulty compressor motor.
In addition to the township's fire investigator, a health official was called to the school because food was exposed to flames during the fire.
The kitchen sustained smoke damage, but the school was not closed as a result of the blaze, he said.
