Hundreds of government officials, families, and friends came to lend their support including Senator Jim Whelan who says the new facility is well deserved, "It's really going to provide a first class facility, which matches the effort of the men and women of the company and it's a central location, its going to be a great asset, a lot of pride for the Richland community."
Officials from the fire department say they were especially thankful to the Department of Agriculture who helped with the funding for their new firehouse.
