Fire Rescue News - FIREFIGHTERS DOUSE FLAMES AT ABANDONED BUILDING IN EHT
EGG HARBOR TWP. -- A small fire broke out around 10:00am at an abandoned building near the intersection of Doughty Rd. and Fire Rd. and early Friday morning.
No injuries were reported and crews were able to extinguish the flames rather quickly once on scene. However, they say a preliminary investigation has led them to rule the cause as suspicious. They say it appeared someone tried to cut into a large oil tank adjacent to the house, and sparks from the saw may have started the blaze.
