1:15 a.m. on the 2500 hundred block of Arctic Avenue.
When fire crews first arrived on scene, they had a difficult time getting to the fire because of the proximity of the homes.
Fire crews were forced to drag hoses down an alley lane to battle the blaze. Fire officials say the blaze started in the front of the building, where the damage burned out the entire first floor.
Fire crews extinguished the blaze in about 45 minutes, and the damages are estimated to be around $100,000.
One resident was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries, while seven others were displaced from their home.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
