35-foot cabin cruiser, was lost. A 25-foot pleasure boat also was damaged, Sculville Volunteer Fire Company Chief Michael Fiedor said.
An unidentified boater pulled another boat out of a slip to save it, Fiedor said. Nobody was injured.

The fire was difficult to fight because the burning boats were at the far end of the marina, Fiedor said. Firefighters had to stretch lines from pumper trucks to get water to the fire.
“We got a bite on it real quick and wouldn’t let it go,” Fiedor said. “Considering the heat and humidity and time of night, everyone worked well together.”
No fuel appeared to spill in the water, Fiedor said, so firefighters did not have to extend a boom around the waterways.
State Marine Police plan to pull the lost boat to dry land to investigate the cause.
At least two dozen firetrucks had closed Somers Point-Longport Boulevard in an effort to fight the fire.
Egg Harbor Township Mayor James “Sonny” McCullough, who lives in the neighborhood, said he had just gone to sleep when he heard sirens and investigated.
“I thought my neighbor’s house was on fire,” he said. “I called (police) communications to make sure they heard about it.”
McCullough said he went to the marina and saw two boats engulfed in flames. He used his iPhone to capture images of the fire.
