Shawn O'Donnell, 32, of Blue Bell, Pa., that had become fully engulfed in fire at about 1:30 p.m., police said.
O'Donnell told police he was driving with his 5-year-old son to Stone Harbor when smoke started coming from the passenger side dashboard.
O'Donnell pulled out of traffic into the Harbor Landings condominium complex on Stone Harbor Boulevard and exited the car with his son before it erupted into flames.

The car and most of its contents were destroyed, while another vehicle in the complex suffered minor heat damage from the fire.
There were no injuries.
