killed at about 5:25 a.m. when the 2002 Chevy Avalanche he was traveling in left the roadway on County Route 559, near milepost 24.7, crashed into a utility pole, and overturned.

Four people were in the vehicle at the time, police said, and the other three refused medical treatment.

Police said all four of the occupants were not wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash. The vehicle sustained severe damage.

Police did not say who was driving the vehicle.

The Hamilton Township Rescue Squad and Cologne Fire Department responded at the scene. Anyone with information about the crash should call police at 625-2700.
