Atlantic City - A fire at Tropicana Casino and Resort left three floors with smoke and water damage, and caused some guests to be evacuated.
The fire happened at about 5 p.m. Sunday, on the sixth floor near the health club, Atlantic City Fire Chief Dennis Brooks said. Security officials reported the fire.
Brooks said the third, fourth and fifth floors received smoke and water damage.
Tropicana spokeswoman Diane Spiers said the fire began in a bin of towels, was extinguished immediately and is under investigation.
Fire crews were on the scene for about two hours.
