Fire-Rescue News- Absecon police officer involved in Route 30 crash

An Absecon police officer and a Mullica Township woman were involved in an accident Saturday morning at Route 30 and Mill Road.

north on Mill Road and Stacy Haden, 21, of the Sweetwater section of Mullica, was driving east on Route 30, Absecon Lt. Chris Weaver said. Craig was on duty and responding to an unrelated emergency call, Weaver said.
Both drivers suffered minor to moderate injuries and were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Campus, by the Absecon Volunteer Ambulance Squad.
Both cars were towed, no charges have been filed and the case is under investigation, Weaver said. The Absecon Fire Department and Galloway Township police assisted at the scene. Traffic in all directions was diverted for about 90 minutes while the accident scene was cleared.
