Fire Rescue News - Utility Truck Overturns on Route 9, Driver Injured
OCEAN VIEW-- A commercial utility truck overturned here on Route 9, one half mile south of Route 83 on Friday, Feb 26 at 8:44 p.m.
The crash occurred near the border of Middle and Dennis Townships. Both townships dispatched first aid and fire department units to the scene.

A medevac helicopter was initially requested to fly then latter recalled. The driver Michael Zurawski, 37, of Middle Township was taken to Cape Regional Medical Center by Belleplain Emergency Corps and Medic 9.
According to state police the truck which is registered to BMR Cable Inc. of Ventnor, was traveling north on Route 9 when for unknown reasons the truck lost control crossing the center line and struck a utility pole on the opposite side of the road where the truck came to rest.
The bucket of the truck stretched across the road and was struck by a car heading south, police said

The two women in the car were uninjured, and there was minor damage to their vehicle, police said.
Traffic was diverted around the scene for over one hour as crews worked to clear the wreckage.
The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Mruz, but alcohol may have been involved, police said.
