Fire Rescue News - POWER RESTORED IN MAYS LANDING AFTER 1-CAR CRASH

HAMILTON TWP.--Power has been restored to nearly 1,000 Mays Landing residents after a one-car accident knocked out electricity Friday afternoon.

A pickup truck hit a utility pole on the Black Horse Pike, near the Hamilton Mall shortly after 3:00p.m. Friday.

That eastbound stretch of the Pike was also shut down while the scene was cleared.

The driver initially refused medical treatment, but was later taken to the hospital for observation.

Crews worked for several hours before electricity was full restored.
