Fire Rescue News - Christmas tree fire damages home in Millville
- A fire sparked by lights on a live Christmas tree caused significant damage to a Millville home, a fire official said.
The fire was reported at about 7:15 p.m. Saturday at a two-story house on the 300 block of Crest Avenue, fire Capt. Doug Hallquist said, and was brought under control in about two hours, although a few fire trucks became stuck in the snow.
Nobody was home at the time of the fire, Hallquist said, and the fire displaced two to three people.
