Hammonton Fire Department's Annual Christmas Parade
The theme for this year's event was "A Traditional Christmas." Organizers hoped the theme was broad enough to appeal to a large number of fire companies, organizations and groups.

Cash prizes were awarded to the first-, second- and third-place entrants in the fire department/emergency medical services category. All other entrants vied for another set of three cash prizes.
In addition, an award was presented for the best decorated home along the parade route.

Entrants lined up along North Liberty Street. The parade turned right onto Bellevue Avenue, continue through downtown and turned left onto Front Street. The parade then continue down Front Street until it ended at the Hammonton Volunteer Fire Department Station No. 1.
A free block party was held at the fire house, and parade participants and spectators attended.
Santa Claus posed for free photos in the fire department's Christmas Wonderland, provided by Ron's Gardens of Hammonton.
Guests also enjoyed hot chocolate and sweets and door prizes were awarded.
The Hammonton High School music department performed songs of the holiday season.
The movie "A Charlie Brown Christmas" was shown on an indoor big screen, and popcorn was served.
Adams, Rehmann and Heggan and The Hammonton News sponsored the parade and block party.
