MVA near the Egg Habor City Lake with Entrapment

The Egg Harbor City Fire Department & Rescue Squad responded to Philadelphia Ave (Rt50) just north of the Egg Harbor City lake for a MVA with entrapment at about 12:58pm Friday July 10th 2009. The EHCFD used the jaws of life to remove the doors & roll the dash off of the victim. According to reports another car cut the victims car off  and clipped the back end spinning it around and sending it into the tress. The other vehicle fled the scene. The EHC Rescue Squad transported the victim to the open field near the lake where the victim was airlifted by Medivac 5 to Atlantcare trauma unit in Atlantic City. The EHCFD handled the landing zone.
