New Jersey Crews Respond to Building Fire
On April 6 at 11:40 p.m., Hammonton, N.J. crews were dispatched for a building fire at 700 Reading Ave. in Atlantic County.
Command reported a 150 x 50 warehouse with heavy fire showing.
Companies began arriving and setting up for defensive operations. Special calls were made for tanker task force.
Crews went in to operation with multiple 2 1/2- inch hand lines and ladder pipes. Second and third alarms were dispatched for additional manpower and tankers.
Mutual aid tankers were called from Camden and Gloucester counties.
The building contained a pool manufacturing plant.
No injuries were reported on the fire ground.
