Buena Vista Township crash sends four to area hospitals

BUENA VISTA TOWNSHIP - Four people were injured when a Dodge Neon collided head-on with a Chevy Trailblazer at 10:52 p.m. Saturday at Landis Avenue and Tuckahoe Road, State Police said.
The driver of the Dodge, Dana Scarpine, 18, of the Richland section of the township, was taken by South Star helicopter to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, in Atlantic City. Her passenger, Alicia Davis, 17, of Newfield, Gloucester County, was taken to ARMC City Campus by ambulance.
The driver of the Chevy, Nicole Ablett, 28, and her husband, Jaime Ablett, 31, of Galloway Township, were treated for minor injuries at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Campus, in Galloway.
No tickets had been issued as of Sunday afternoon, and the cause of the accident was under investigation.
