4:48 p.m. Update - with video / MAYS LANDING - The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office is investigating two deaths at the All Paws Veterinary Clinic.

Ronald Clemente, 51, apparently shot his wife with a semi-automatic handgun and then killed himself with the same weapon, according to Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel. Patrice Clemente, 50, was the mother of four children, though none of the children are by Ronald, Housel said.

Co-workers told investigators that Ronald Clemente had threatened to kill Patrice, but she chose not to go to police or seek a restraining order.

Clemente apparently carried some sort of note, according to the prosecutor, though there were no other people in room at the time. Check here for updates. See Friday's edition of The Press for complete coverage.

Investigators pulled what appears to be a box of shells, knives, a hunting license and an archery equipment case from  a small construction trailer as they gather evidence from the home of the murder-suicide victims on Scarborough Drive at The Shires in Egg Harbor Township.
