Pleasantville EMS took Lee Widder, 57, of Egg Harbor Township, to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, who discharged him later that night.

Police at the scene said Widder was conscious and complaining of bumps and bruises.

Witness Roberto Diaz, who was in a southbound car behind Widder, said Widder was trying to make a turn when he lost control of the bike.

The motorcycle appeared slightly damaged. No other damage or injuries were apparent at the scene.

Widder was cited in 2002 for falling asleep at the wheel of a car and colliding with three other vehicles on Route 40 in Hamilton Township.
