GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP - Two township residents were injured when their cars collided at the intersection of Sixth and Upland avenues Sunday morning, police said.

According to police reports, Corinne M. Sheeran, 82, was traveling east on Upland Avenue when she failed to yield to a second car, driven by David Eng, 47, as Eng traveled south on Sixth Avenue.

Eng's vehicle then struck Sheeran's car just after 11 a.m., which caused Sheeran's car to rotate and strike a guardrail before coming to a stop.

Sheeran was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, mainland division, while Eng was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, city division.

Galloway ambulance crews transported both people.

Police said the road was wet at the time of the crash.
