BUENA BOROUGH - Three people were injured Friday night when two vehicles collided at Route 40 and Weymouth Road, police said.

Jeffrey Lorusso, of Williamstown, was driving west on Route 40 at about 9:42 p.m., when a minivan driven by Gabriel Victor, of Adelphi, Md., crossed into his path while trying to turn left onto Weymouth Road, police said. The vehicles collided, causing serious damage to both of them.

Two occupants of the minivan were trapped inside, and had to be extricated by the Landisville Fire Company, police said. They were taken to South Jersey Regional Hospital in Vineland. A third occupant of the minivan was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for a possible head injury.

Officers Sam Martinelli and Stacy Steudle are investigating.
