Elwood Vol Fire Company 2008 Fund Drive

Dear Neighbor,

Elwood Fire Company Members have family obligations and full time jobs just like you. yet we find the time to dedicate countless hours to do what it takes to be a firefighter and rescuer. The sate and federal governments mandate hours of annual training. We adhere to these guidelines. Running a fire company is a business too, and many of our personnel serve in administrative functions. Without the tireless leadership of the officers, the company would not function.

We are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including holidays. We are your neighbors and friends. We are dedicated to the community to ensure that when we are called upon we will be there for you, your family, and your friends.

The members of The Elwood Volunteer Fire Company recognize their responsibility to the township to provide the best fire and rescue services. In order to meet these goals, we must again ask you, the residents of our community, to show your support through donations. Most of our funds come through donations and fund raising activities. This request is quite difficult for us as we are used to giving and volunteering. Your money goes towards training, equipment and building maintenance. We need your help as much as you need ours.

This trailer will have specialized equipment for traffic details, hazard material assignments and other emergencies for Elwood and all of Mullica Twp. Your donations help us purchase specialized equipment such as this.
