The Hammonton Fire Department was called at about 8:30am on July 26th 2008 for a Possiable Structure Fire. They were then advised there was a veichle into the building with fire. The driver was transported to Kessler Hospital with minor injuries.
HAMMONTON - A woman lost control of her truck and drove through the front of Hollywood Tans on Saturday morning, according to local police.
Police said the woman was driving to work when she crashed into the store, located at 75 S. White Horse Pike, at about 9:30 a.m. She was not injured, and there was no one injured inside the store, police said. There was smoke and firefighters were called to the scene, but the smoke was coming from the truck, not the store, police said.
Police said neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the crash, and the driver may have had a medical problem that caused her to lose control of the truck.
Officer J. Pinto of the Hammonton Police Department is investigating the accident.
