Incident #21 04/01/2009 at 3:50pm - 3838 White Horse Pike for an MAV Stand By & Landing Zone Assignment
The Elwood Fire Company was called to 3838 White Horse Pike for a pedestrian Motor Vehicle Accident at 3:50pm on Wednesday April 1st. Tanker 16-5 and Support 16-1 assisted with traffic while Engine 16-3 Landed the Helicopter at the Mullica Twp School. One person was transported by helicopter to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. All units were clear at 5:10pm.

MULLICA TOWNSHIP - A Camden County man was airlifted to the hospital Wednesday after he was struck by a car on Route 30 near the Hammonton border, police said.
The 53-year-old Berlin resident, whose name was not released, was struck by a car at 3:58 p.m., police said. The name of the driver, a 37-year-old Voorhees resident, was also not released.
The Hammonton Rescue Squad responded and prepared the victim to be flown to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, police said. His condition was not known at press time.
Lt. Paul Register and Detective Sgt. John Thompson are investigating the accident.
